Vehicles

Built around the chair, not adapted to it.

We start with an empty Sprinter or Transit and design outward from where the wheelchair sits. That order of operations is the whole difference between a vehicle you tolerate and one you forget you're in.

Custom builds

Three kinds of van, one way of building them.

01

Mobility camper vans

An accessible off-road camper — galley, bed, power, water, and a lift that works at a trailhead. The rarest thing we make and the reason a lot of people find us.

Sprinter 144 or 170, high roof, 4x4 available

02

Passenger vans

Family vehicles with room for the chair and everyone else — multiple securement positions, ambulatory seating, and a floor plan that doesn't park the wheelchair user alone at the back.

Sprinter or Transit · configurable seating

03

Transport vans

ADA-compliant vehicles for care facilities, shuttles, non-emergency medical transport, and municipal fleets. Driver-operated lifts and multiple securement stations.

Platforms

Sprinter and Transit.

We are a Mercedes-Benz Expert Upfitter and have spent over a decade inside the Sprinter — its electrical architecture, its structure, where you can and cannot cut. That knowledge is why our conversions hold up.

Transit is the right answer when budget or dealer service network matters more than stand-up height or 4x4. We'll tell you which one your situation actually calls for, including when it's the cheaper one.

Available now

When a build slot is too long to wait.

A custom build takes months. Sometimes a situation changes faster than that — a new diagnosis, a discharge date, a vehicle that finally gave out. These are the shorter paths.

In stock, always

Mobility Sprinter

One converted Sprinter on the lot at all times, ready to drive away. Also the vehicle we use for fittings — come roll onto it before you decide anything.

New dealer line

JMI Mobility vehicles

Factory-converted mobility vehicles, available to order or from inventory. A faster route to a finished vehicle when a custom build isn't the right fit.

Your vehicle

Lift retrofit

Often the fastest and cheapest answer: keep the vehicle you own and let us fit a certified lift and securement system into it.

Choosing

Five questions that decide the vehicle.

  • Who drives? Driving from the chair changes the entire conversion.
  • What chair? Manual, power, and tilt-in-space chairs need different door heights, lift capacities, and interior clearances.
  • Who else rides? Seat count and securement position drive the floor plan.
  • Where does it go? A school run and a week in the desert are different vehicles.
  • What's funding it? VA benefits, vocational rehab, and manufacturer rebates each have their own path and timeline.
